OUR APPROACH

The Learning Wagon Preschool Program believes in the importance of fostering holistic development of young children. It follows the developmental interaction approach, which highlights the interplay of the different developmental domains in the child’s being. The Center also highlights the value of direct, hands-on and active learning which occurs when children are given opportunities for play, for social interaction, and for experimentation and discovery learning. The Center upholds that each child is unique with different learning styles and personalities. The children’s families also play a major role in the children’s learning and development. The Center highlights the importance of connecting to the child’s family in achieving the child’s optimum development.

OUR VALUES

The Learning Wagon Preschool Center is dedicated to delivering quality programs for the holistic development and skills enhancement of young children ages one to four years old. Utilizing the progressive approach in teaching, the Learning Wagon Preschool upholds the child-centered approach in planning activities and in facilitating learning and development.

The Center is owned and headed by Ms. Jillian Kimberly T. Lua, graduate of Bachelor of Arts major in Psychology from De La Salle University and of Diploma of Early Childhood and Development from the University of the Philippines, Diliman Quezon City.
